Hello! I’m Lisa, the heart and hands behind The Culinary Preserve. My love affair with food began in my family’s kitchens, where I learned the joys of cooking from scratch and the art of preserving the harvest. These early experiences instilled in me a passion for creating delicious meals and a deep appreciation for the age-old traditions of canning and dehydrating.

My husband Greg and I have 2 grown children and split our time between southern Arizona and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Living a life filled with flavor, I set out to share my culinary journey with like-minded enthusiasts. I believe that food is not only a source of nourishment but also a way to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories with loved ones.

As a caregiver for my quadriplegic husband, my culinary adventures are infused with resilience and creativity. Each recipe I share is a testament to the joy of cooking, even in challenging circumstances.
